How often should my students work on Fluency Practice?

Fluency Practice is built into the student experience and happens automatically as students work through the curriculum. The timing follows a consistent rhythm designed to support steady growth without adding extra load.

Here’s how it works:

  • After every 15 minutes of curriculum work, students complete a 2-minute fluency session tailored to their current needs.

  • This pattern continues with another 15-minute learning block, followed by another 2-minute fluency round.

  • Once students hit their weekly time target, they unlock a 5-minute fluency session as a bonus.

The full pattern of 15–2–15–2–15–5 minutes repeats throughout the week. Each Monday, the cycle resets, giving students a fresh start.
