Is Happy Letters Free?

Happy Letters offers a free version for teachers — the Basic Classroom License. This license gives individual teachers access to the platform for the entire school year.

Please note: The free version is available for individual teachers only — schools and districts need paid licenses.

Some teacher-facing features — such as detailed progress reports, advanced analytics, and customization options — are available only with paid licenses. A full description of the features included in different license options is available on our License Comparison Page.

Even with the free Basic Classroom License, your students get nearly the full student-facing experience. The only limitation is the amount of time students can spend on the platform each day. Most students can still make meaningful progress with daily use.
