Working on HappyNumbers, all students take three main assessments, powered by The Quantile® Framework. Test results are measured in quantiles (Q*) which are available only to Premium users.

Student test results are a useful tool for gathering and monitoring detailed student performance data. Assessment results provide schools and teachers with the opportunity to reframe their own teaching and assess the impact of their instructional approaches. For these reasons, we have introduced an assessment report to Happy Numbers.

To know more about the assessment reports and request personalized reports, please contact your Customer Success Manager or send us an email to cs@happynumbers.com.

What is the report about?

The report lets you track the details on three main student assessments: Placement Test, Mid-Year, and End-of-Year Tests. It consists of two sections: a banner where you can download detailed data for individual students and a tab covering class and school information. You can find it in the Assessment section of your Administrator account.

Individual Student Report

To view information about all of the students rostered, click on the Download .csv report button.

The report requested entails the following details:

  • Student’s name

  • Teacher’s email

  • Grade

  • Class number

  • PT Quantile Score

  • Initial placement in the curriculum based on PT result

  • MY Quantile Score

  • Placement based on the MY test result

  • EOY Quantile Score

Our data calculation process starts automatically. Since there is much information to be processed for a single report, it might take some time for it to process.

If the calculation process is not disrupted, the file download will start and the report will be sent to your email address.

If you see the following banner, there is something wrong with the process. To investigate the reason, check the troubleshoot note below.

Class and School Data Tab

You can switch between the assessments (1) at the top of the tab to check particular assessment results.

This sample tab illustrates the following details:

  1. A school-wide overview line

  2. School

  3. 61 students have been tested

  4. 74 students have been rostered

  5. 11 students are far below the grade level

  6. 16 students are below the grade level

  7. 19 students have met the grade level (on grade)

  8. 15 students have exceeded the grade level (above grade)

The school-wide overview is followed by a grade-by-grade breakdown of the same data.

We recommend monitoring the “Students tested” section to make sure the maximum number of students are tested. If there are many students who scored below grade level, it will be worth paying attention to HappyNumbers usage in these classes.

Report download troubleshoot note

If your download process went wrong, please keep in mind the following reasons:

  1. The download might be down due to Internet connection loss. There were probably some connection failures during the download. We recommend making sure that your Internet connection is stable, and try starting over.

  2. The download might be blocked by antivirus or any other software running. Make sure that your antivirus software is off, and have another try.

  3. The download might be blocked by the browser you are using. We recommend switching the browser and trying again.

If the issue still persists, please reach out to the support team either at support@happynumbers.com or via live chat.
