Happy Numbers provides different license options, including Basic Classroom – a completely free version – and several types of paid licenses, such as
Advanced Classroom
School License, and
District License
A full description of the license options is available on our License Comparison Page. Here’s a quick look at what each license includes.
The Free Version – Basic Classroom
The free version includes your teacher account for the whole school year. Some teacher-facing features — such as detailed progress reports, advanced analytics, and customization options — are only available in the premium version.
Even with the free Basic Classroom License, your students can continue to enjoy nearly the full student-facing experience. The only limitation lies in the amount of time students can spend on the platform each day. While this may slightly reduce flexibility in the classroom, it still allows most students to make meaningful progress with daily use. Paid Versions
Advanced Classroom is designed for individual teachers who want enhanced classroom management and reporting capabilities. It includes
Unlimited student practice time
Dashboards with detailed class data to help you track progress, intervene when needed, and share insights with school admins or parents
HN scores for assessments, in addition to color-coded results
Unlimited assignments
Access to the K–5 Printables Library
School License builds on Advanced Classroom features by adding administrator-level tools for school-wide oversight. This includes
School-level dashboards: activation, usage, and benchmark assessment reports
Admin views of classrooms and student performance
A dedicated customer success manager who will help you get on board and successfully implement the program in your school
Onboarding webinar support
Access to Quantile® measures (available upon request)
Participation in math challenges
District License offers the most comprehensive feature set, including everything in the School License, plus
District-level reporting to monitor performance and progress across schools
Enhanced professional development with 2 webinars per year (instead of just onboarding)
This makes the District License the optimal choice for multi-school use, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across an entire district.
